You hear a lot in the press and from your various technical and community organizations about Climate Change and Sea level (and Bay level) rise and its impacts on flood protection, stormwater, water and wastewater facilities.
You probably have not thought as much about the effects coming from below the ground surface! Please join us in person for a discussion of Sea Level rise, its effects on coastal facilities and infrastructure above ground, and also the effects below ground as well.
Our speakers will present the effects on the Bay Area as a whole, and relate it to the East Bay communities as well.
