In the midst of historically wet weather across the region, the East Bay Leadership Council's Water, Energy & Environment Task Force will take a closer look at groundwater quality management in the Livermore Valley.
About the Presentation
This presentation will cover how Reverse Osmosis technology is being used for Groundwater Quality Management in the Livermore Valley groundwater basin, the treatment process, operations and maintenance issues, lessons learned, and how it fits into sustainable groundwater management and regulatory compliance needs.
Featured Speaker
Ken Minn is the Groundwater Resources Manager for Zone 7. Ken is responsible for SGMA compliance, sustainable management of the Livermore Valley Groundwater basin, well permitting and Zone 7’s regulatory programs. Prior to joining Zone 7, Ken worked for EBMUD, Dept of Water Resources, and consulting firms for 25 plus years.
Ken is a licensed professional engineer with an MS from Univ of Southern California and an MBA from UC Berkeley.
