DESCRIPTION:In the midst of historically wet weather across the region\, the East Bay Leadership Council's Water\, Energy & Environment Task Force will take a closer look at groundwater quality management in the Livermore Valley.\n\n\n\nAbout the Presentation\n\nThis presentation will cover how Reverse Osmosis technology is being used for Groundwater Quality Management in the Livermore Valley groundwater basin\, the treatment process\, operations and maintenance issues\, lessons learned\, and how it fits into sustainable groundwater management and regulatory compliance needs.\n\n\n\nFeatured Speaker\n\nKen Minn is the Groundwater Resources Manager for Zone 7. Ken is responsible for SGMA compliance\, sustainable management of the Livermore Valley Groundwater basin\, well permitting and Zone 7's regulatory programs. Prior to joining Zone 7\, Ken worked for EBMUD\, Dept of Water Resources\, and consulting firms for 25 plus years.\n\nKen is a licensed professional engineer with an MS from Univ of Southern California and an MBA from UC Berkeley.\n\n\n\nHealth Notice\n\nPlease come prepared to wear a mask in the Brown & Caldwell offices. And if you are feeling sick\, please stay home.\n\n \n\n\n\n\nThe East Bay Leadership Council's Water & Environment Task Force meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month and covers issues ranging from water storage and reliability to air quality regulations and innovations in energy.
