The EBLC Housing and Transportation Task Forces will be welcoming featured speaker, Mark Tollefson, Deputy Cabinet Secretary for the Office of Governor Gavin Newsom, to discuss the Governor’s housing priorities and his proposed Trailer Bill that would provide 750 million in support to help cities plan and zone for new housing and could impact SB 1 transportation funding.
About Mark Tollefson
Mark currently serves as a deputy cabinet secretary for the Office of Governor Gavin Newsom handling transportation, housing, and homelessness issues. Previously, he was an Assistant Program Budget Manager at the California Department of Finance, where he served in several positions since 2007, covering issues including transportation, labor, housing, courts, emergency services, and pensions, among others. Prior to that he ran housing programs for small cities and counties at Connerly & Associates, Inc.
