Join EBLC's Health Task Force for a discussion with Dr. Patel, Chief Medical Information Officer at John Muir Health, who will explain how AI is being incorporated into patient care across their health system. Dr. Patel will discuss emerging applications for AI in healthcare, opportunities to enhance patient outcomes, and considerations for implementing this technology responsibly.

This presentation will offer a valuable opportunity to learn about the evolving role of AI in healthcare delivery and discuss its potential impact on patients, providers, and the broader healthcare landscape.

OUR SPEAKER

Dr. Priti Patel is the Chief Medical Information Officer at John Muir Health. She has been practicing family medicine since 2002 and began her career in clinical informatics in 2012 during the implementation of John Muir Health’s first enterprise-wide, electronic health record. In the years following, she obtained board certification in Clinical Informatics and served as the Associate Chief Medical Information Officer. She advocates for the needs of clinicians and is passionate about developing and implementing innovative digital tools to deliver safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care. Dr. Patel earned her B.S. in Bioengineering at Columbia University, and her M.D. from Albany Medical College, and completed her residency at the University of New Mexico.
