Vijay rose from intern to U.S. Business Editor for The Economist where he opened the magazine's Shanghai bureau in 2012. He also serves as chairman of a provocative series of Innovation Summits held annually in Chicago, Hong Kong, and London. His opinion pieces have appeared in leading publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The New York Times, and he is a seasoned commentator on CNBC, Bloomberg, MSNBC, and NPR.
