DESCRIPTION:The City of Hercules is planning the ribbon cutting for the soon to be completed Path to Transit phase of the Hercules Regional Intermodal Transportation Center.\n\n\n\nThe improvements completed as part of this phase include the extension of John Muir Boulevard\, a new bridge across Refugio Creek to connect to Bayside Boulevard\, the restoration of Refugio Creek\, and the installation of a Creekside trail\, plus other amenities. This greatly enhances access to the future Hercules Regional Intermodal Transportation Center.\n\n\n\nThe ribbon-cutting will include a community Bayfront Celebration along Bayfront Boulevard which will have a car show\, food trucks\, entertainment\, and informational booths until 2:30 PM.\n\n\n\nThe funding partners who made this key infrastructure possible include the California Transportation Commission and Caltrans Division of Rail\; the Contra Costa Transportation Authority\; the East Bay Regional Park District\; The Federal Transit Administration and WestCat\; the West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee\; and the City of Hercules.
