DESCRIPTION:Join the Equitable Economic Recovery Task Force as we look at pathways to strengthen broadband access in Contra Costa County. Our community's response to COVID-19 has highlighted our ability to adapt to a more digital world\, but it also showed us how gaps in access can limit opportunity.\n\n\n\nThis webinar will concentrate on projects and innovations in place today to close that divide. We will discuss the state of California's work on digital equity\, hear from the city of Oakland about their free internet initiative and talk to providers about what options exist for displaced workers\, small businesses\, and nonprofits looking to increase access for their clients.\n\n\n\nAbout the Task Force\n\nThis effort was launched and co-led by the Contra Costa Workforce Development Board\, Contra Costa Employment & Human Services Department\, and the Contra Costa Economic Partnership.
