DESCRIPTION:The task force is set to discuss issues related to the fiscalization of land use with a presentation from Ashleigh Kanat at EPS.\n\n\n\nLunch will be provided.\n\n\n\nAbout our speaker\n\n\n\nAshleigh Kanat is an Executive Vice President in EPS's Oakland office.  She joined EPS in 2007 and has significant experience preparing and evaluating real estate market and financial feasibility pro forma analyses\, urban revitalization and economic development strategies\, public financing and implementation plans\, and economic and fiscal impact analyses. Recent speaking engagements for APA and CALED have focused on public financing strategies for diverse projects with major infrastructure needs. She brings technical rigor\, creativity\, and collaborative project management experience to her projects.\n\n\n\nAshleigh has a Master's Degree in Public Policy from U.C. Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy and a Bachelor's Degree in American Studies with a concentration in Urban Studies from Smith College.  She is a member of Lambda Alpha International\, SPUR and CREW and volunteers with the Urban Land Institute's UrbanPlan program.  She is an Oakland native and now lives in Berkeley with her husband and two sons.
