DESCRIPTION:Join us at the 2021 Board Installation & Awards for an evening to reconnect and celebrate the East Bay Leadership Council's legacy of leadership. We will honor the exceptional leadership within the EBLC by presenting the Ellen O. Tauscher Distinguished Service Award\, Distinguished Advocate Award\, and the East Bay Leadership Medal. The 2021 honorees were chosen for their exemplary service to the EBLC and the community.\n\n\n\nWe will also recognize the valuable contributions of the dedicated members of our Board of Directors\, welcome new members\, and hear from Bielle Moore (Republic Services) as she begins her term as chair of the board.\n\n\n\nThe entire event will be held on the outdoor patio with limited capacity.\n\n\n\nFood & Drinks\n\nOpen bar and Hors d'oeuvres available for all guests.\n\n \n\nVaccine Policy\n\nAll guests are expected to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.\n\n \n\n\n\nEast Bay Leadership Medal\n\n\n\nFor leading a regional effort to vaccinate isolated seniors\, mobilizing volunteers across the East Bay to deliver medical equipment to small board and care homes\, and bringing joy to Choice in Aging participants from a distance.\n\n \n\n\nEllen O. Tauscher Distinguished Service Award\n\n\n\nDr. Vic Baker\n\nFor leading racial justice initiatives and dedicating his time and expertise to an equitable economic recovery in the East Bay.\n\n \n\n\n\n\nDistinguished Advocate Award\n\n\n\nBob Linscheid\n\nFor his leadership in implementing the EBLC's task force pilot and fostering collaboration among education\, healthcare\, and economic development leaders as part of the Opportunity Task Force.
