Healthcare Task Force Update

The Healthcare Task Force took time to discuss the concerns of physicians and the unique challenges they face in our public health systems.

The group also heard from Jeff Oxendine of the East Bay Health Workforce Partnership about potential partnerships and how the region can work collaboratively to address shortages in the health care workforce. The group addressed a range of issues including the lack of nursing teachers and the importance of creating clear pipelines to health care careers in the East Bay.
