Health Care Task Force Update

The October East Bay Leadership Council Health Care Task Force meeting included a handful of important discussions, including a review of the draft 2020 Policy Agenda and an update on potential local ballot initiatives.

The meeting concluded with a presentation from Larry Sly, Executive Director and Caitlin Sly, Program Director of the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. Larry and Caitlin provided an overview of the Food Bank's current work and shared their advocacy priorities. The group also discussed CalFresh enrollment rates in Contra Costa County and how the task force might best support the need for continued advocacy.
