Hacienda Receives East Bay Leadership Medal
(James Paxson, General Manager of Hacienda, accepts the East Bay Leadership Medal.)
"Hacienda has been an invaluable asset to the Tri-Valley community and the East Bay Leadership Council's work in the region," said Kristin Connelly, President & CEO of the EBLC.
"Hacienda has helped with important regional initiatives related to transportation and water, and played a key role in the creation of the Tri-Valley Anti-Poverty Collaborative Poverty through its Hacienda Helping Hands community initiative. They have been a welcome supporter of the East Bay Leadership Council as an organization and its presence along the Interstate 680 corridor."
"Hacienda is very proud to receive this award," stated James Paxson, Hacienda's general manager. "We believe it is important to invest in the area and Hacienda is committed to continually working toward improving those underlying conditions that make a difference in the region's quality of life and economy. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with the diverse array of business and community leaders convened by the East Bay Leadership Council as their commitment to the region is inspiring and their work truly makes a difference."
Hacienda is the largest development of its kind in Northern California. Over 10 million square feet of existing, mixed-use space is occupied by some 685 companies that locally employ approximately 19,000 people. Hacienda’s businesses represent the best and the brightest of contemporary corporate America and provide the home to everything from small offices to regional centers to large campuses for company headquarters. In addition, Hacienda also features homes to some 4,300 residents. Residential developments also provide a full spectrum of choices from stylish rental units to single family detached homes.
The East Bay Leadership Council is proud to have Hacienda as a member and thrilled to honor them for their contributions to the East Bay region with the 2016 East Bay Leadership Medal.
